Actuation Hydraulic, with integrated cylinder

The GHS-3B-190.00 is a hydraulically actuated three-jaw chuck for machining centres. During loading, spring force initially holds the workpiece; hydraulic clamping is then applied for machining.

The inclined jaw guides also create a pull-down component during clamping. This fixture clamps a housing using the workpiece support and serrated clamping faces on the top jaws. Lubrication is applied manually through grease nipples on the chuck body.

Technical features

  • Steel construction; all parts hardened and ground
  • Inclined jaw guides for a pull-down effect
  • Manual lubrication through grease nipples
  • Force transmission by the wedge-hook principle
