Clamping Tools
Swivel clamps
Technical overview
Swivel clamps are widely used. Asymmetric workpieces can be rigidly positioned or aligned using bores or pins. For symmetric workpieces with demanding accuracy requirements, centring by clamping jaws, a clamping sleeve or a sliding-jaw mandrel is often preferable. Swivel clamps can then usually provide face clamping.
Components of our swivel clamps are hardened according to their loads and fitted in the main guides to micrometre tolerances.
Advantages
Flexible placement of the swivel clamps allows workpieces of almost any geometry to be clamped.
The swivel angle of the face clamps is variable.
Workpiece loading and unloading are automated.
