Machining axle ends
Two GHHY-2B-300.00/9 two-jaw Hydrozent chucks, each measuring 300 mm, are used in this fixture for machining axle ends.
The chucks can travel along the fixture. Hydraulic actuation is provided by side-mounted cylinders. The workpiece is aligned by the central unit, preliminary guides and swivelling aligners on the chucks. It is clamped with contoured jaws. The fixture has a connection for central lubrication.
