Hydraulic centering chucks

Self-centring chucks with integrated clamping cylinders for rotary indexing machines, transfer lines, machining centres and special-purpose machines, and for use as vices on conventional machine tools.
Chuck components are hardened according to their loads and fitted in the main guides to micrometre tolerances.

The chucks can be actuated hydraulically, pneumatically or mechanically. We offer three cylinder configurations and can also adapt them to your requirements.
The Hydrozent range is available in diameters from 80 to 300 mm. The GHHY design has straight jaw guides, while the GHHYS design has inclined guides. Inclined jaw guides create a pull-down effect, drawing the workpiece against its support during clamping.
