Clamping Tools
Sleeve expansion mandrels
Technical overview
Sleeve expansion mandrels must be designed individually for the requirements of each clamping task.
Working closely with our customers, we design special mandrels or combinations of face-clamping chucks and mandrels.
Interchangeable collets make it economical to accommodate different clamping diameters.
Sleeve expansion mandrels are particularly suitable for precision machining. They can also transmit higher forces than sliding-jaw mandrels. Typical applications include turning, grinding, milling and gear cutting.
