Hydraulic chucks

In hydraulic clamping fixtures, hydraulic actuation of a cylinder produces the clamping movement. This can be applied to many clamping systems, including jaw chucks, chucks with swivel clamps, sleeve expansion mandrels and other designs.
Their main advantage is a reliable process with little operator intervention. Hydraulic fixtures are therefore commonly used in component machining on machine tools, machining centres and production lines. They also provide consistently high forces at all clamping points, further improving machining accuracy.
