Machining cams
The GHHY-2B-250.00/23-2 is one of many Geiger + Haag clamping fixtures used for machining cams.
The specially engineered clamping jaws of the chuck shown allow workpieces to be positioned precisely in two planes. The workpiece is clamped between four rollers. The large base-jaw stroke and threaded adjustment of the clamping jaws make the fixture highly adaptable to different workpiece ranges. Special cam designs are accommodated by tailored clamping arrangements, for example roller clamping combined with interchangeable fixed inserts. This hydraulic two-jaw lever chuck has an integrated cylinder.
