This hydraulically actuated three-jaw chuck has an integrated cylinder and through-hole, pneumatic sensing at the workpiece support, unequal jaw spacing, central lubrication, a spring-loaded diamond locating pin and two supports with spring-loaded pressure pads for workpiece alignment, plus one rocking clamping jaw. Carbide inserts mark the workpiece during machining.
