This mechanically actuated two-jaw chuck is driven by an electric clamping unit or hydraulic motor and controlled by torque-dependent switching. It is self-locking, independently of hydraulic or pneumatic pressure. It is used in transfer lines, rotary indexing machines and linear transfer machines.
Lubrication is applied manually through grease nipples in the chuck body.
