The GHPPG sliding-jaw chuck has an integrated cylinder. Clamping repeatability remains below 0.002 mm even after a long service life. The clamping force can be finely adjusted with a clamping valve.
The steeply inclined jaw guides produce a strong pull-down effect. The precision sliding-jaw chuck shown has a taper mount. The clamping inserts are screwed in. Beneath them is the air feed with a media passage, which can be used for pneumatic seating checks or coolant supply. Lubrication is provided through a grease nipple on the chuck body.
Our GHPPG sliding-jaw chucks are used on grinding machines and for hard turning.
